I have until June 10th to:

- Decide which school I'll be attending in the fall.
- Pack our condo.
- Repair our condo.
- Sell our condo.
- Move myself, my reluctant husband, our reluctant three cats, and our overexcited dog 2600 miles away.
- Find us both jobs that pay for school and living expenses.
- Find us a place we can afford...

It really stinks that you'll be leaving Jax. Seems like every time I meet someone cool here, they leave.

You are such a sweetheart! blush
Good luck with your move.

I've come to the conclusion that life isn't always fair. And it took me an awfully long time to realize this, but...well, there it is.

apparently, mosquitoes exist so that snakes can have something to eat.

But why do snakes exist? To eat mosquitoes.

Close friends count too, there will be three close friends at said dinner party.

Today I'm sick.

Today I think I ruined a waiter's day, unintentionally.

Today my mom left, and I miss her already.

Today I watched a thousand or so Smallville episodes.

I need to put a condo on the market, file a tax extension, and make an Easter brunch.

I don't know how to do any of these things.

I miss the sense of wonder, of everything being the first time. The first time you smoke a cigarette or do drugs, or drink, the first time you have sex. The first time you stay up all night with your best friend talking about the universe. The first time your parents really disappoint you, that you learn to think of them as failable humans. The first time you drive. The first time you smoke pot with all your friends looking at you because you're probably inhaling wrong and everyone laughing when you say you don't feel anything and then start giggling uncontrollably on the playground in Cherry Hill at four am, waiting for the cops to roll up.

I miss all that stuff.

I don't miss not getting. Missing stuff, not being smart/experienced enough to always keep myself safe. I don't miss not knowing what I had until after it was gone. Not even a bit.

How the hell are you, dear?

Didn't you recently celebrate a birthday that I forgot to wish you well on?

And how's the ShivasSteve entity?

Fav thing about spring: The return of flowers and green grass smile
deadlysarah:
In FL, there is no such thing as spring. There's fall-ish and then summer. But when I lived in Chicago, I loved watching the leaves growing back on the trees. And green green grass.

I always hate living on the first floor becuase of the people upstairs, their bathroom is always right above my bedroom, so I can hear them pee at like 4am.

Thought the First

To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kinda scary. I've wondered where this started, and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus and a clown killed my dad.

Who couldn't love Jack Handey?

I have the largest, most irrational fear of clowns, and I blame it on Stephen King's It, which I watched with...

nope graudated law school five years ago. I worked in legal publishing for five years, and, bizarrely enough, just ended my first day of real lawyer work an hour ago (I may not go back tommorow - seriously).
