i just got back from the Legendary Shack Shakers show and all i can say is ... if the devil has let the demons out of hell and they are a band they are the Shack Shakers. i haven't seen a front man this serial killer scary since Lux and the Cramps at the Modeska. i felt like someone had let a rabid dog out in the room... i was literally afraid the guy was going to come off the stage at any minute and bite me. if they come to your town GO SEE THEM. you may not dig the music but the stage show is worth it. for a listen go to here. and don't be scared off by the "country" vibe...they are waaaaaay more hardcore than they let on.
thanks to esquire27 for that little "somethin special", and i'm not talking about the Peeps or the disc (although how happy am i to have them?!?!). you rock. perhaps i will see you tonight at BRMC. right now i'm attempting damage control, popping asprin and swilling orange juice. oh, well, it wouldn't be easter if i wasn't hung over. it'll be mimosas for easter brunch.
oh, one last thingy... why have i never realized how hot jim carey is??? go see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind; it's worth the $7 or whatever

And of course I'd wave if I ever came through. Or stop buy and have a drink even.
