Well, my new iPod nano showed up today! It is appropriately awesome... but I'm a sucker for a new red nano. 
I really hope things turn around for my brother, though - his car was leaking transmission fluid, so I followed him to the dealer. When he parked it, it was literally spewing it from under the car. He's had a pretty rough summer financially (with the 14 thousand dollar sewer replacement!); and on the way home I got to hear him moan and groan the whole way home. I offered to buy him dinner at BK, but he didn't want to.
This is one time it's "good" I'm still job-searching - he'll be able to take my car to work until his gets fixed, but jiminy crickets... I'm going to make him read Virtual Mode - it helped me when I was really feeling suicidal. Our mom is right; he should see a doctor.
