While it wasn't really a part of my new year's resolutions, one might see it as a part of becoming a tidier and better organised person. I cleaned up my inbox with only four emails of the past seven years remaining unsorted due to them having a high importance. There were some gems in that inbox and they made me realise that I'm far from a total failure: I've had some trouble but as I went through the first couple of years it was all school work and I remember how little expectations I had for myself. I've now finished my studies and am on my third job. While not really the area I envisioned myself working in, I'm lucky to even have a job; a few years back I was between studies and tried to find a job which proved to be an absolute bitch, leading to my decision to start tutoring in maths and physics first, then biology and chemistry too after a while. I'm proud that I'm now actively supporting the charities that I stand for, with money as well as volunteering for the dog playground and the vegetarian restaurant.
If advise everybody who's feeling down to go ahead and organise your inbox. It's given me a lot of energy and a very fresh look on life.
