Here I am with another update! After yesterday's blotchy start we made for Ronda, a rustic village set on a huge cliff. If you're ever in the neighborhood, be sure to visit because it is spectacular. This is the place where modern bull fighting was invented, and even though I'm very much against it, the story is great. After Ronda we had a Sherry tasting in Jerez, at the bodega of Fundador. Our tour guide was a beautiful young lady and I can't get her out of my head haha. The tasting ended up in my acquiring a new aperitif which I think will be great when served on my dad's birthday later this month. Today was a tour of Sevilla, starting in Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter of Sevilla. Following that, a tour of alcázar and the gardens. After a short break with tapas we explored the cathedral and let me say now what I could not inside: holy shit. If only half of the effort put into religious buildings was put into science and innovation in the new age, we'd all be flying around in cars instead of standing in traffic. It's huge and beautiful and verily rivals the San Pietro. We had the most amazing dinner at some back end Street corner Italian place which I would recommend if I could remember the name. That's it for today. Hasta mañana!
