Ah think all of my out and aboutness finally caught up with me around Monday Ive been sick all week but its not so bad.
I started my new job Monday too... so far its pretty tame I havent started my training yet but Ive been reading up to take my A+ test. The guy that used to have my job was pretty useless it seems he lacked the proper problem solving skills to complete normal day to day tasks.. so basically hes cast a big stupid shadow that I should easily work my way out of... though I fear any mistake I make will be handled in the codling idiot way that his boss used to treat him. My new job has some pretty nice perks so far two... Im on salary so no real overtime per se just bonuses for special projects, i get to take hour lunches... though this week being inventory I rarely take lunch at all besidse being sick with no appetite. I got my own desk with a new Dell xps, a Dell axim palm pilot and a Verizon wireless cell phone with 700 minutes and free night and weekend minutes. Which I think at this point Ill toss my existing phone and plan with alltel and save myself a bit of cash. The phone is pretty sweet to its a V cast heres a pic:
My motherboard and power supply died over the weekend... sucks I just replaced my motherboard about two months ago even upgraded processors, some how I suspect my dad... he couldnt get on my computer becuase I flipped the power switch on the PSU... now the thing cant find the keyboard and wont even post to the BIOS the controler on the motherboard is heating up just a bit below meltdown... ah well come friday can buy a new PSU and MB. Ah well not to much else to talk about really... the search for an apartment continues now that I think I will be able to afford a decent place to live.
