ok so its been a long time since ive written in my sg journal.
i celebrated my 30th birthday yesterday (nov21st) and it doesnt feel any different than my 20's. even though it's really only the 1st full day of being 30. my bf calls me an old lady, but i still feel young. you're only as old as you feel.
went out saturday night for a walk with my bf and my friend and her bf...played around in the fallen leaves. then went to a local pub to hear a band. sunday went out for brunch. watched scream and scream 2 and ate thai food. what a birthday!
i got some great gifts- a webcam from my boyfriend, gift certificates for bookstores from my dad and grandparents, but i think my favorite gift was from my friend lara; she gave me a little pirate treasure box she handpainted (with a mermaid on the top) and a bunch of jade, amethyst quartz and moonstones and seashells inside..and a handmade gypsy-ish necklace with bells "Fit for a Piratess" as she says.
