the weekend:
glenn came up late friday night; we slept in on saturday, then went over to keene's pumpkin fest to look around. we never ended up carving a pumpkin ourselves, oh well. saturday evening, we drove over to portsmouth to see Lourds play at the muddy river smokehouse. they rocked live! and i discovered midori sours. mmmm... on sunday, we drove to salem, ma to meet up with Saveme and Forgotten at salem beer works. we walked round town for the afternoon; visited the peabody essex museum, and toured the witch museum and house of seven gables. we had lots of fun!
funny thing was that when glenn and i showed up to meet saveme and forgotten, forgotten and i had both decided (without prior coordination) to wear our sg shirts. do we get points for that? anyway, following our busy afternoon/evening in salem, glenn and i drove the 2 hours back to keene, and had passed out within 45 minutes. he had to wake up at 2am to drive back home to long island. yuck.
so our next visit will be...thanksgiving...one month away. the countdown begins again.
i am off to bed now...the nyquil is starting to kick in.
