This morning, my mom and I are going away on vacation. We're driving up to Portland Maine, and taking the CAT (high speed ferry) to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Then for the next 8 days, we're going to drive along the Nova Scotia coastline, maybe even get up to Cape Breton. We're looking forward to it very much. We haven't made any plans, just kinda go where each day takes us. We haven't even made reservations for lodgings; we are bringing along the tent and sleeping bags, so if there is no room at the inns, we can camp out. These kinds of vacations work best for us. No rush to get anywhere, and if we really like a place, we can stay longer...but if we don't like it, we aren't stuck there. We love the Celtic culture of Nova Scotia; the music, etc and we hope to get to hear some real great music, have some great food, and mingle with some great locals. I'll talk to y'all when we return.
