So I'm officially going to be in St. Louis, MO for my 21 birthday! I'm so excited, I get to see Rocky... I mean Rob (!!) on my birthday for once!
Rocky is Rob's black lab, just so nobody imagines some random dude who fits the name Rocky.
I'll officially be an old person... oh god, I'm going to be an old person!
But it's not like I'll go out drinking, 'cause Rob can't drink yet, nor can he drive... and it's not like either of us are the type to go out drinking...I don't like how alcohol burns my throat, Rob is just odd. Really, this would be quite a boring birthday, were I not just happy to be able to see my loser.... and I miss sex, we mustn't forget that.
I wish I knew of some cool things to do in St. Louis that I could ask to be taken to. We went to the City Museum at least twice while I was there! Once it was just me and him, and then we went when we worked at his vacation bible school for one day... but they pissed me off 'cause we couldn't be cuddly or do little kisses or anything (because these kids have never seen their parents give each other little pecks, I'm sorry but my church is actual southern baptist like his church claims to be, and they allow it (albeit, my pastor said we're pretty close to Presbyterian... which is what I was baptised as and the denomination of the church I went to for the first 12 years of my life)). The kids were cute, though... we had a group of boys, they were so sweet even if they were 6 and impossible to keep under control. So cute! And then Rob's mom called and asked if we wanted to go to the City Museum, we figured she meant with her... so we said yes... she sent her stepson and his semi-creepy friend to pick us up and they had no clue where we were going and augh, it was so stupid. And we had to ride in the back of his mustang with the top down while he drove like a retard/maniac and blared really bad, cliche rap and gave us both headaches. One of my favorite memories (because even though these two are pathetically white looking, they dress... not even like rap singers but they dress like they're trying too hard to be black) and one of Rob's sister's friends is half black, and she looked straight at them and goes "Uh, why do you leave the stickers on your hats?" and they just looked at one another and laughed like they were trying to make her feel dumb... but it was obvious they were doing it 'cause they didn't have an answer. Anyway, he and I weren't happy about how his mom handled that one. I did like the zoo, though... it amazes me their zoo is so much nicer and not only is it free to get in, but most everything costs about the same as at the Birmingham zoo (where the tickets are like $7 a person at least). And I looooooved Grant's Farm... the horses! I loved the horses! I got to pet a baby and it was soooooo cute!
I'm so excited, though! 13 days! I just have to work my ass off until then to make up for the hours I'll be missing while out of town.... hopefully my manager will give me plenty of hours.
And I'll be old in 17 days.... gotta count down everything.
I've been eating less lately, I don't have much money to last me for the rest of the week, so I've been saving it for an emergency. So I try to pack my lunches for work, and I try to resist getting fast food... and even the past couple days I've not eaten anything until 4 in the afternoon, and then I was out and about so I almost only had one meal two days in a row but I forced myself to eat last night because I don't think it's healthy. I forced myself to eat breakfast this morning, just to kick start my metabolism.
And now that I've rambled, I'm going for a jog.
