So due to recent events, I have a forced vacation from work. Next week other than school Monday and Wednesday 'til 12:30 I'm free.
I got written up for a trainee leaving a plastic salt scoop in the popper... although the management didn't really look into it and the guy I got written up for said he didn't close the popper. I got written up because I trained him and he goofed, but I don't really agree that that's a write-up worthy issue in any case... And also included in the write up was me not having put out cups the other day, which I had done... but ugh, it was retarded.
My manager told me it was obvious I was burned out, which I am but I hardly got hours this week so next week off is going to fuck me over. Plus, I really would've rather tried to have Rob come down for his spring break and us be able to visit without me having to work, if anything... ugh. Now if he does come I still have my classes and I have to work to make up for the time I didn't get. The GM had asked her how she felt about firing me and she said no because I was a good supervisor, I've just been slipping recently. They haven't been having issues with me like the others. She told me to think of it as a vacation, not punishment... and to get some rest and relax. She also said she didn't want me around this weekend 'cause she thinks there's going to be a bit of inner turmoil, so I guess she's really trying to help me out... and maybe I will be glad I got this week off instead of the week with Rob.
In other news, I've decided to dye my hair back to blonde sometime in the next couple weeks. I realized if I'm growing my hair out I should stop dying it so I can give it to locks of love when I decide to chop it off. I'm just waiting to use up my radiant brunette shampoo... or maybe I'll just give it to my mom... hrm.
And if I haven't mentioned, I was correct about my co-worker... haha.
