Prepare to Hold Your Colour
Wow, what a great weekend so far and I've still got a game of hockey to play.
I had a rather drawn out usual Friday night, in which myself and whatever allies I could find consumed way too much Belgian Beer. That place is sucks me in so bad every time. I saw my next door neighbour there as well, and promptly forgot her name. She looked none to pleased when I though she was her sister. It was soon got over and everyone laughed because I was drunk.
Yesterday was my friend James' bucks day, evening, night. Whatever you like to call it nowadays because these things go for so long now. We started at Mash Brewery in the swan valley... and... you know, their beers are pretty so-so. It's like they are trying hard to make a really good beer but just fall short in every style. It definitely aint no Little Creatures.
We moved on from their to play a round of supa golf. Rules and experiences may vary based on which group you played in. I'm proud to say I came 3rd in my group of 5, and didn't win any money, and also rebounded a shot off a tree into the water.
After that I left the bucks party to hook up with another couple of mates, we were off to see Pendulum play live. It was a massive show. Warming up was Micah playing an almost 3 hour DnB set, and it was impossible not to keep moving. The main act hit the stage, and those guys are turning into a very servicable rock band. Rob Swire had broken his foot somehow and was sitting down the entire night. The best bit about a Pendulum live show is they are always changing things up. The rendition of Hold Your Colours as the encore totally blew me away, and the new stuff is also sounding great live. If I have one criticism of the guys its that as a rock group a lot of their tracks are sounding very similar in parts.
After that the bucks guys hit up Ambar. And so did my Pendulum crew. Good times all round.
On my way home some fool decided to give me some payback and drunk dial me. Fortunately I plied her away with the idea of pizza in the valley.
Hopefully I can have a win in hockey today to top off this so far fantastic weekend.
P.S. this is a random nudey update because I am drunk
It may or may not have happened in my normal state of conciousness.
No pics right now because it didn't happen. Shhhh.

And jep, it's the pancake job. I signed my contract today, it's great.
I'm sorry for stealing your weather, but it's been crappy for 7 months, so I think we deserve some sun. In about two months you can have it back, it's only downhill from there.
