Day 12 - Raging Against the Machine.
Day 13 - Sunday, part 2.
Aint nothing like a game of golf on a Sunday. Fucking snail.
Day 14 - The Hills.
There's not a lot to say about this day, except I went moutain biking. Finally. I didn't tkae any pictures because I'd left the camera back at the house to go riding. The trials are A+, good condition, well marked, well kept and nicely challenging at times.
Day 15 - North Beach
Day 16 - The Last Days of SF.
My last full day in SF was somewhat uneventful, spent basically hanging out with Mick and Kel. In order to thank them for being my hosts I took them out for dinner. Kel picked the joint, apparently her favourite Mexican restaurant. Let it be said that the portions in the US will not leave you hungry. After getting home I realised I'd put on 5 kg.
Day 17 - Fucking Airports.
Packing again, was not fun. Kel wanted me to take a fwe things back for her wedding, and my big case was already mostly full. We packed and shifted and packed again for most of the day. And finally settled that we'd got everything in to the bags at under 23kg each. It turned out that one was 22.8kg and the other 17.2kg, which was a long way from the 21.9kg and 6.9kg I had on the way in. There wasn't a whole lot to do, other than say goodbye. Kel got a bit emo, but I'll see them all soon.
Day 18 - Going home.
The Auckland stopover this time wasn't so bad. It was shorter, and I decided to hire a car which gave two advantages. I could go where the hell I wanted to, and it had a car stereo. Let it be said however that the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer... is shit. Well compared to my Mazda3 at any rate.
I took in a Kiwi sunrise and snapped a few shots around but didn't actually do anything besides drive around and walk up a few hills. Having said that though, some of my better photos were taken today. I think NZ provides a lot more shots for a rookie photographer such as myself.
And so that was the end. I jumped on the plane home at 2:30pm and arrived back in Perth at just after 6pm. It was a great trip, but I was equally relieved to be home again.
Until next time... Fin.
Do not grok.
