It's about this time every week where I'll sit down and think to myself "Geez, I'm gonna seriously injure myself one of these days". Whilst writing this I'm currently also working out how much a knee reconstruction is worth, checking it against my health insurance to see how big a hole my knees are going to make in my back pocket.
Currently I'm thinking it may be big enough for some buttock exposure.
You see, this whole ordeal is not hereditary, it's become a weakness over time. I don't think I've ever fully healed from when the fat bastard on skates tripped himself and pinned my left knee to the rink wall. Fuck ice hockey for a joke, especially in WA.
It should also be noted that physiotherapy might be a good option.
Not that I've done that in a long while. In fact, my old physiotherapist now lives in Melbourne and works for one of those Victorian footy teams. If I cared enough about Victorian footy I'd probably remember.
