I've been so busy and so tired when not busy of recent. I would dearly love some time off. So a list of recent things:
- Karnivool rocked. I think I missed seeing J_Diddy out there though.
- Go you Eagles!
- I had a car crash. Or more correctly, some idiot ran into me. And won't pay his excess so I can't get my car repaired. Fucking red tape.
- I'm looking to buy a new car. Notably current model Lancers are shitter than my Excel.
- I finished runner-up in my hockey team's medal count. This meant I had to drink a shitload and therefore I was quite blind by the end of the night. Somehow I ended up at the Cott and snogged and shagged some chick who 3 days later turns out to be the most snooty bitch ever. I can pick 'em.
- Scored a hat trick in indoor soccer. Assist on another goal. We still lost. This is why your center back should never score a hat trick.
- Worked too hard.
- Talked like a pirate. YARGH!
- Am attempting to get back into uni (Chem Eng if anyone wants to know).
I don't see an end to this, especially while i'm in the part of my rotation at work where I am rostered on the weekends. I just can't seem to relax, and sitting in front of a PC monitor at home is not relaxing for me. I'm thinking about kicking the drinks after work if there's work next day thing as well, my amazing powers of recovery aren't quite so amazing, not even remarkable. In fact they're pretty average. That, and I seem to be getting (non booze related) headaches regularaly and for no apparent reason. I'm generally well hydrated, and I'm not a doctor so I don't know what it could be.
So, while I'm at it, some goals, be they short or long term:
- Get my car fixed then,
- Buy a new car.
- Quit the worknight boozing
- Get back into uni.
- Hang out with some different folks, and hopefully meet some new ones.
If any anonymous benefactors what to sort out any of these for me, you know where to find me.
