It has come to my attention that when I'm out and about unless I am distracted I will sit and try and drink as much as possible.

The point of this? I'm not sure. But I feel poorly today for a number of reasons. Some to do with beer. Others to do with people. Being let down is not a good feeling.

I have developed a crush on a chick I work with. This is bad for two reasons, one, I sound like a fourteen year old girl and, two, I see her every day. Like most things it'd be cool if it worked out, but I can't see it playing out at all. That said we do get along very well at work, and have had fun together at recent work socials.

All this needs is Darryl Kerrigan... "Tell 'im he's dreamin'"

I think I need to exact some change in my life again. Canada sounds good. I wish I knew more Canadians.

Work things can be really tricky. On one hand it can be a little too highschool. Holding hands at lunch and waiting for the school bell...

But then you've got to ask yourself, if you're not going to meet someone at work, where do you meet them? A bar? So with work at least you have something in common...

I will admit that in my most desperate hours I also considered signing up for one of those dating websites, but one quick look and I was reminded of all the reasons that would be a very bad idea. I've had friends sign-up for them, and all they met were socially enept losers.

You're perfect match won't fit all the right check-boxes. They won't be profiled to within an inch of completely-unromantic.

"You like Chinese food and going to the beach? So do I!"

No shit, we ticked the same box. Who knew

The short answer is I really don't know. Good things come from differences, and cliches are generally cliches for a reason.
