Good news everyone,
I just got back from WizardWorld Chicago, after going for the first time since I started going to GenCon which was about 4 years ago. I have to say it has been a pretty good year so far for me, as I started getting back into the 'Comic scene', and WizardWorld is pretty much the biggest gathering of my kind of geeks in the midwest.
I spent a lot of time looking around for the freebies & deals, but I also sat in a few lines for autographs too. I picked up a bunch of loot (pictures to come!) including a stack of Trade Paperbacks, lithos & prints, figures and comics, but the coolest by-far was a Molly Hayes print by Christina Strain. I would have spent a lot more money, and prob bought the 3-day badge if GenCon wasnt next week, as that convention is going to eat a whole in my pocket with meals, parking & hotel for 5 days. The best thing about WizardWorld is that the convention center is only 20 min from my house, I can bring a lunch (if so inclined), and I get free parking in the garage because I'm a Union Carpenter.
Well, Im going to upload some new pics soon, and give some better updates when I get to GenCon.
