A girlfriend of mine from New York sent me 2 dozen roses at the hospital but I had already gone home. The candy striper or whatever delivered them to the new patient in the bed. So my gf -Danna- calls me in the hospital room because she didn't know I left and the new patient picks up the phone. My girl was like oh you're not Lissah, and the old lady says sure I am. Then the crazy old bitch says to my friend- oh you must be who sent me the flowers. Danna was like no I sent them to Lissah...The lady keeps thanking her for the flowers and says how she made her day. So I called the nurses station from home and said hey these flowers were delivered to the new patient and I'd like to come pick them up. The nurse goes and checks with the patient and she insists that the roses are hers. She threw away the card so that there's no way to prove they're mine...And the info desk has a list of the flowers that were delivered and you have to sign for them...they can't find sundays list anywhere. So I'm like shit outta luck. They told me that the flowers will just die anyways. Can you believe some old bat would just straight out lie like that? I don't care if she has dementia or whatever. If she's that fucked up just gimme my flowers and she'll never notice. Tape some cotton balls the to end of some straws and stick em in a damn dixie cup...work it out. I'm so disappointed. If it had been $200 cash that she took that would be stealing...but it's flowers so I'm nutty for wanting them....God shit sucks :o) But I feel better and that's pretty effin good. My fever has stayed around 101 so thats good compared to what it was.


Weird medical fact:

If you eat something new that you've never eaten before in your life and you take an antacid like Tums or whatever at the same time you can go into anaphylactic shock. The antacid causes an enzymatic reaction that will make the body see the new food as an allergy or poisin when it gets down to the small intestine. So don't eat strange foods and tums. :o)
