Agree whole heartedly re site and annonimity, thus NO pictures of Itburns and why no journal for first 2 years of membership. HOWEVER my friend Gia (not aember) tells me she thinks this site could be a good place to meet like-minded people and then see what they're really like. She is always right so I agree.

It all comes down to acceptance and popularity. People want other people to like them, so they change their appearance, personality, etc...to what they think will get the friends rolling in. Personally, I think everyone has done this at least once or twice.
