since i find true love so elusive in my personal life, i oft find solace in love on the silver screen/cinema. "paris je t' aime is one of those refuges i retreat to.

in 18 vignettes, 22 directors from across the globe, tug at your heart strings with love of a man for a woman, a man for a man, a woman for her child to love lost and found.

i rented it twice. now i own a copy. now when i find myself love forlorn, i pour myself a glass of wine, or perform the absinthe ritual with a rocky petel cigar and drown myself in the 18 arrondissmonets of paris, each one, oozing, brimming into the interstices of my vacuous heart.
