Its already June, its crazy how fast this year is floating by.

As usual, things have been pretty relaxed, even slow at times, which is no surprise, living in a small town with not much else to do than stay in and entertain oneself at home.

Over the last weekend, I part-took in an "arts expo", which, as fun as the weekend was, I was very disappointed in. It was a mash up with a music fest/camp out, and at the end of the day it was more of a gimmick to promote the event, than something to promote local artists. It is also sadly partly the general perception of art and artists, where people expect art to be free, or for artists to sell themselves short.

I've been helping my better half with some of his college work by playing model for him, and this is the result:
