Sad doggie update. I have been friends with a family for about 13 years, and I am their trusted house/dog sitter when they go out of town. Today I learned their 17 year old Chow, Sadie, passed away. I stayed there about 2 weeks ago, and could tell old girl didn't have much left in her, but man it sucked to hear that she died. She was very creaky with arthritis, and I could tell it hurt her to get up to go outside, but she was always smiling and a very happy dog. I always brought special treats for her when I stayed there, and she just lit up when she saw me. The last time I left their house, I looked at her, and something told me that would be the last time I saw her, and I was right. I know she had a great life and was always happy, but I am just really fucked off about this. I miss her.
RIP Sadie girl, I loved you
