All I have to say about Seattle is that I have never had so much fucking fun in my life. The people are so damn nice, nobody gives a fuck what they look like, and nobody is in a hurry. It really chilled me out and took me down a notch.
I did count an amazingly high number of Subaru station wagons, and found myself secretly wanting one. Everyone had a dog. Everyone was just out enjoying the sunshine.
Pike Place Market is fucking rad, the flowers, vegetables, and fish are primo. We walked around for literally 4 hours and didn't even see all of it. So fucking rad to see local farmers and fisherman displaying their goods. Huge bouquets of rare flowers for like 10 bucks. Wow.
Right now I am listening to a cd i bought from an a capella group of old black men singing gospel songs, and it is great.
People up there know how to live, and how to appreciate things, and not bitch and moan.
I think I have walked about 5895843095 miles, my paws are bloody, but I kept going. And going, and going, and going............
I want to go back. I love the ferry boats that took us to the mainland from the island we stayed on. I miss that cold rush of air off the water that wakes you the fuck up.
I think I am about done with Texas...........
We went to the ship locks in Ballard, and watched old school shrimp boats pass through while hungry sea lions chowed on salmon. The captain of said boat was stoned to the hilt and waving his ass off at us.
I have not been away from home in so long, and this trip was just what I needed to make me see other ways of life and get out of my little box I have been in for soooooooooooooo long, and man, I needed that
Oh, and a little fucked off tidbit. I was hell bent on getting my picture in front of the apartment building that was in the movie Singles. I did, but the poor building looks like ass, and some chick was setting up a yard sale in the courtyard, which totally fucked off my game...

It all looks so sunny and organic. Oh and...that's the first I've seen of a full Starbucks logo change. I know they did it months ago but have yet to see a new opening with the full new mermaid. Must've been a new location.
HUG!
TY!
