SO! I finally have some free time to report on my holiday break.
I traveled about 900+ miles by plane to Oklahoma City to visit my extended family. (Yes, I was born and raised in Iowa, but my family is all from Oklahoma.... little FYI). I got to migrate from 70s-80s to 40s-50s and below freezing at night.
But regardless of the weather, I had a great time with my family.

[From left to right: my cousin Shane, my aunt Brenda(brunette in the back), my cousin Rachel, Jenna (my brother's girlfriend from the Air Force Academy), my brother Matt, and yours truly.]
Even (attempted) to throw a few snowballs! Haven't done that in over a year! And I'm glad to say I probably won't for even longer.
But we got at least one ice ball out of the deal!
ANYWAY, I had a great time. I missed my brother and all my relatives and it was nice to see them again. Yet, I'm glad to be home. I missed my warm(er) weather and all my friends. I hope you all had a great holiday!!
