I screwed myself over... 
I should've known better than to tell anyone about a raise until it was official. I told myself I wouldn't count my chickens before they hatched.
I didn't listen.
Apparently the person doing the hiring wants to give the raise to this other guy that doesn't do half the work I do but has been here longer than me. At the moment, nothing is set it stone yet. I can still use my leverage to steer them the correct direction, and hopefully my connections will help me get what I rightly deserve.
Anyway, knock on wood and wish me luck. SO,If all goes good I'll get that raise and I'll be peachy, if now it looks like I'll be job hunting again... and with a surgery tomorrow and all this B.S. making me flustered and nervous, I'll need all the encouragement and hugs I can get.
