Okay well that day could have gone better, yeah the master of understatement *sighs*
The client pulled the plug on us for installing the system because they are too busy and now we have to wait until January. I cant believe how so many people have worked like hell to get this in and its fallen through as the chimes begin to strike. Literrally stressed out to the point of being physically sick at times and now it was all for nothing. Times like this I wish I still drank alchohol. The MD was definately not looking too good so damn good job its a Friday so he has a weekend to calm down.
Spoke to my friend last night who had to go for the TB tests/results... only to be told she had to wait another five days. Suckage is high on that one but luckily she is one of those people that seldom lets things get her down and was still in a good mood. Spent a while laughing and joking with her about it which was entertaining. We have a phone company here called BT (British Telecom) so I was joking with her about American spellings of English words and so accused her of catching a 'rare strain of telephone company-itis'. Guess you had to be there
Oh joy... have to be up at 04:30am tomorrow (ish) since my parents have flown to Spain for a holiday. Because my house is so near the airport they left their car at mine to save on the silly priced airport parking. Looking forward to seeing them again but I may not be so jovial at that time.
One last thing if you happen to read this... check out the verse written by HeavenlyStranger today. Good stuff!
