well..
before i get back to all my comments and bookmarks (which could take until tomorrow... sorry guys, got home late tonight)
i just want to pimp out a great documentary that we saw recently..
we loved it so much, i do believe i'm buying it for Dorwayin for christmas.
No surprise there though as i already have informed him of it
so yeah, if you like documentaries, i found this one very inspirational!
however, i am a huge fan of any film that revolves around dancing.
I find dancing to be one of the most liberating and primal acts (besides sex) that exists on this planet, and i spent a good deal of my younger years indulging in this act.
Ecstasy anyone?
I love to watch people dance, even if their moves are somewhat boring and unimaginative...
it takes balls to abandon ones self consciousness (Sp?)
and so many people that i have met through the years are "funny" about dancing in public.
I always loved dancing... and i'm not a great dancer by any means ....
sadly enough i dont do it very much these days,
but every so often i feel moved to do so.... and although it may be brief, and probably in the privacy of my own home... i still find dancing has a calming and uplifting effect on me.
So i have to ask you... do you have a favorite dance film?
anyway,
the film is called "Rize"
and if youtube is actually working tonight, hopefully you can see the clip..
if not, feel free to look it up yourself
i'll get back to everyone soon! promise

I'll even give you due props if I talk with the guy himself.
i was at a Borders outside of Wilimington, DE. i had just stoped in to pick up aq couple a magazines to keep me occupied here at work. when i got to the check-out line i saw the big cardboard box on the shelves behind the counter. i had remembered seeing something about this book earlier in the year or last year, and decided to go up to the information desk to ask about it. when asked, i was told it was $200. i must have walked back thru the store for another 15 minutes trying to decide what i wanted to do. in the end it came down to the reasoning that yes, the book is $200, but i'm in DE and there is no sales tax, and further more the book is here in the store so there is no shipping charge. so i put back the two magazines, and asked for the book. the no sales tax, and shipping fees were the final nails in the coffin for me
