finally got around to seeing "The Descent" yesterday...
i know,
shame on me for not going to see "Snakes on a plane.."
but i was in the mood for something a little darker.
anyway, the movie scared the shit out of me, as it tapped into the whole fear of claustrophobia
very effectively.
Watching six women trapped in a cave trying to get away from..
well, i won't give anything away, but lets just say that the film is downright creepy, and the acting is not
to shabby.
while watching it, i actually got nervous and cringed more than once.
I have to admit, it is probably one of the better horror films i've seen at a theater in a while.
So Shelly gives it two thumbs up!
on another note...
this is the sole reason i don't think i would behave at any future trips to a vineyard or wine tasting event,
i have a fear, that i could very well end up like Patsy or Ed
from AbFab
damn.. i miss that show!
so.. how was your weekend?
i managed to get out of the house about four times!
a record for my reclusive ass these days (and that doesn't even include my grocery shopping trip at Trader Joe's)
while i had a great time this weekend, i realized that it went by far too quickly due to the planned events
i made.
and now i have to get ready for work, i hope you all have a decent monday.
xxoo Michelle

Berlin? Yes, it's a great city. I miss it a lot. I studied there computer science and worked for a couple of years. When the wall came down all those things happened in the town and every day it changed it's face (or facade). Today you wouldn't know where East and West Berlin started or ended.
miami vice was classic michael mann. good story leading up to a good climax. nothing id watch again , it was no heat thats for sure. very stylish though. worth checking out on video.
