Damn!
thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday!
and for those of you who missed it...
shame on you!
just kidding.... i do realize that everyone is not on the computer twenty four hours a day.
my birthday was far less depressing than i thought it would be..
of course i did have to work
i didn't take it off this year because i chose to take June 16th off instead to see the "Ministry" show.
After work, i headed down to a restaurant to meet up with DrChaos who was in town for a reunion with M.I.T....
big brain on that man.
It was a pleasure meeting him however...
very cool gentleman.
I got some cool gifts as well.
anyway, i had a horrible day at work today
back to back euthansia's....
five of them almost right in a row!
was a hard night indeed..
so i came home and drank some vodka..
my friend Laura had left me a message on my answering machine wishing me a belated birthday and apologizing about calling me late..
her cat "Henry" had passed away and she was in such a funk she hadnt realized my birthday had already come and gone..
as if she needed to apoligize!
so much death in the last couple days
but i came home to a package from incorrigible
a package made up of beauty products for my face and eyes!
i was so giddy from receiving this gift..
words cannot express how much it meant to me after the day i had..
so a big THANK YOU! goes out to her..
so...
considering the fact that i had that kind of week with a lot of death and sickness over at the animal hospital..
i ask you guys to give me some great comedy recommendations when you get the chance.
Either that, or just tell me a couple comedies that constantly lift your spirit!
ones that you could watch over and over again.
Here's a few of mine
1) California Suite
2) The Goodbye girl
3) Harold and Kumar go to white castle
4) Sixteen candles
5) Better off dead
6) Flirting with distaster
7) Airplane
8) Blame it on Rio
9) Serial Mom
10) Real genius
and my oldie but goodie recommendation of the week...
"Same time, next year"
not exactly a comedy.. but a touching film none the less...
i hope you all have a great weekend!

I hope you know it was not at all a big deal to pick you up, and that I could've dropped you at home last night, too. unless Dorian just wanted to pop by anyway...
anyway, I'm glad I got to see you.
p.s. we should hit up boston and go eat in chinatown and watch the omen very very soon. oxox
Valentina: That was quite unexpected, indeed!
Adjusts: This time, they went too far. Hahaha!
