Shelly gets all social....
Her Grade?
A C plus at best.
Saturday night i did the unthinkable, i stepped out of my house for a night of fine dining and drinking.
Headed over to Coriander, the restaurant where Dorwayin inhabits as pastry chef. There i got to meet up with Alyk, Smuffy, JoshXXX, negative and his lovely GF. They were such great company! I cannot thank all of them enough for meeting me out there and providing me with good conversation and the wonderful gift of listening to my lame ass stories and not yawning
Also, it was refreshing to sit at a table with women whose breasts were bigger than my own, it was a vision of cleavage!
Then last night, D and I headed over to a bar to meet up with irishinch who was getting an early start with his birthday celebration.
He was an amazing host! And so many of his friends and family showed up....and yet, he made the rounds like it was a walk in the park. If i had that many people to converse with under one roof, i'd probably have an anxiety attack and hide in the bathroom.
So yeah.... met lots of cool folks, drank a lot of booze and ate like there was no tomorrow.
This weekend... more socializing to come as Holagatita and SurlyMike head to boston to see some films in the boston film festival.
I'll be meeting up with them, and dining on some veggie cuisine with them as well
Not that i mind.... as most people know, i am happy pretty much eating anything!
I'm a non picky glutton.
I'd write more, but i have to head out to work.
So, i'll leave you with a film recommendation of the week.
CHERISH
this movie came out in 2002 i think.
Why should you see it?
well, for one.. it stars Robin Tunney as a social outcast placed under house arrest for a crime she didn't commit, and Robin Tunney is hot. Nuff said?
she also rollerskates in her apt to some kick ass 80's tunes, flirts with her parole officer played wonderfully by Tim Blake Nelson, and tries to find the man who framed her.
Good film, great soundtrack
Hope everyone had a good weekend...

I'm not sure. For what it's worth, I'm armed with her phone number, but, seeing as I'm not sure of what the schedule will be Saturday morning to Sunday morning, I couldn't make plans for sure.
