I have a couple things to write about today.. First off... its just a little more than 24 hours til David is home and I can sleep comfortably again.. YIPPY. This has been the longest two weeks of my life.
And now the biggie.. I had lost contact with one of my best friends for about 6 months or so and yesterday he calls me up and him and is girlfriend come over cause they have something they need to talk to me about. So we do the catch up chit chat and all and then they tell me that my friend has decided to start taking steps to become a woman. WOW.. I've always know that he was bi but never knew that he wanted to do this.. I am SOOOOOO supportive of it. I told him I would do whatever I can to help him with his dreams. he's dressed up a few times and stuff with his girlfriend but Never gone anywhere so we had a little girl session and picked him out some of my clothes and he did his makeup and helped him with a couple pointers on walking in heels..DAMN he looked a ton better than i did when I wore that outfit.. so we all sat and giggled and talked and then he and his girlfriend took my oldest daughter out to get ice cream.. that was his first outing as a woman.. I was so proud of him and Heaven (my daughter) told him he looked wonderful and you could see his eyes beaming... It was all and all a great day. He's still really nervous and we all know that his parents aren't going to approve so we have to tread lightly with things and he would probably lose his job because his boss is very against homosexuality so for now we are keeping it on the DL. Anyone got any suggestions on what we can do to help it alone without causing too many waves?

Aww she really is beaming, I'd suggest looking to see if there are any TG/TV groups in the area, you need a support network in place before they will change the everyday life of work/family etc, In the UK we have great laws on equality and diversity of LGBT people in the workplace- is there not similar in the US?
