on sunday it was the birthday of my better half, for his gift i got him a day feeding lemurs at a wildlife park, they were super cute and so spoilt!
the baby was only 8 weeks old and her name was frankie.
i also took this picture of a wallaby with her little baby
i have such a moral dilema with zoos and wildlife parks and the like, i don't mind the small animals, they always seem to be perfectly happy being spoilt rotten and lying around in the sun, but i hate seeing the larger animals and monkeys in cages, they never seem big enough and they always pace around like they have gone completely stir crazy. luckily the place i was at on sunday mostly had small mammals and farmyard animals. they had baby pot bellied pigs too that were amazingly cute. i want one!
yesterday i went to see brick, it was really good. i think maybe the director/writer was trying a little bit too hard to be clever, but it kind of worked and can be forgived for a first film. the humour was very lynch too and i loved the character of the pin. joseph gordon levitt is also pretty easy on they eyes
he is turning out to be a pretty amazing actor, if brick and mysterious skin are anything to go by....
p.s.
annoyingly i seem to have been sucked into watching big brother against all my better judgement. god i want to kill those people.
I have to confess I did worse the first time I drew blood, but thats cause I missed a bajillion times, it was my roomate and we though it would be a good idea to steal some stuff from the hospital and practice on each other. He ended up hitting and artery on my arm instead of a vien and it hurt like hell !
