Before I begin this blog, here's some music to enjoy. I've always been a huge Porcupine Tree fan and this song has amazing composition and in-depth meaning. 720p this!!!
So May 16th, 2011 marks the day that I leave my birth place of Chicago for the quiet heat of San Antonio, Texas. I'm going to be renting a house with a buddy, which is more spacious and also cheaper than most of Chicago's housing options. I have a job lined up out there working valet for a hotel. My friend makes pretty good money in tips out there and gets to drive some pretty exotic cars so I'm looking forward to the change. I've sold pretty much everything I own that is considered bulky and unnecessary so that I come as close to living as minimalistic as I can. I'm also going to donate more clothes to the Salvation Army. I think it's important to be able to be content with having less material possessions, not that I disagree with materialism because we do need materials to survive...I guess it's the excess that doesn't appeal to me.
Aside from that, everything has been going pretty good with me lately. Finished a new drawing (check attachments album), been jamming on my bass quite a bit, smoking high grade ganja, hanging out with my brother before I move 1600 miles away has been awesome too...man, I'm probably going to cry when we go our separate ways. We've basically been attached at the hip since birth. We've had some differences but I don't think anyone is closer to me in my life than my brother. I'm going to miss this guy.
Anyways, I hope everyone of you is having a terrific day today. I always look forward to hearing from those of you in SG land.
Until next time...

I'm a little jealous of you getting a fresh start, I think it's gonna work out great for you. You seem to know what you're doing anyway.
