I just saw a blog by Countessa (another amazingly beautiful lady... huminahuminahumina... but anyway) which mentioned "thigh gaps", which I had to go Google... And I reiterate my response," Who the fuck cares?" Of course, I know people do care. And that's the problem. Why are we, men and women both, concerning ourselves with something as irrelevant as the space, or lack therein, between a woman's thighs? There are many more things to worry about, appearance-wise. Primarily body fat. Keep in mind, I am not, and will not, use the term "weight". As far as I'm concerned, weight is irrelevant. I'm talking about the amount of fat a person has on their body. And, according to the limited research I've done on the subject, any woman with less than 11% body fat is underweight, while the ideal range is around 25%. That means a woman should, theoretically, be approximately one quarter fat. I know that different people have different body types, and thus different body fat percentages. Take, for example, two of my favorite ladies, Annalee
and Epiic
While Annalee is thinner, and undoubtedly has a lower percentage of body fat, they are both beautiful. Their bodies, when taken in entirety, are proportional. And I don't see any "thigh gap" on either! (Yes, I looked at other pictures, too.)
So, in conclusion, it is my opinion that physical beauty should be evaluated based on healthiness, not on some idiotic, arbitrary judgement on the appearance of a small portion of the body, which is dependent more on genetics than on any personal actions of the objectified person. And yes, when discussing physical beauty, we are objectifying the object of our analysis. I do it, otherwise I wouldn't be able do decide which models, none of whom I've ever actually met, are my favorites.
