Hey there.
I think i've offended someone on this site and I truly apologise for that. If no ones noticed, I'm the son of immigrants to the UK from India and Pakistan, actually pre-partition India. I joked that I'd thought I had got away from my fellow P***'s, which is something I actually regularly say as I only believe its a word that having been said by me many times in real life seems not to have translated into comment form. Which is a bit of a shame as it's a nice Ice breaker in real life, to any nationality. It allows people to think that it is a word that Ive taken and they can't use against me in any way that would truly hurt me.
This isn't to say I havent got pissed of when Ive been called it, but usually it has been backed with vitriol. I can understand that she was offended about it, I didnt actually just throw it out willy nilly but actually thought about it. I am really sorry to the person and have sent her an apo;logy and a promise never to darken her door again. And advised if she wants me zotted off the site thats fine because I never intended for someone to get offended for it. Thats partly the reason I put it in stars because most people wouldnt notice it but someone who knew would, and putting it in stars also show that some people still find it offensive.
In the way I sent it was because the consensus of most asians in the Uk has become to take this word back and use to a point of strength and solidarity, because unfortunately it has and is used in a way to make people feel like shit. So taking this word back has been something of stand to say go use something else.
So Im sorry that I upset anyone who find, Im gunna say it in a spoiler if you have a problem with it,

i can see why, when you offend someone it really gets to you. but all you can do is hope that they take you apology and then that will be the end of it. might even end up on good terms with the other person.

Yes I think the wig is the way to go. Why do my friends never have fancy dress parties? I'm itching to do this
