And now for the weekend update. Friday, not much went on, ate out with some friends. Saturday on the other hand, was exciting. I slept in and didn't go to the casting call. But I did get myself to the hyatt downtown to meet up with some old friends. We decided to check out the new Fourth Street Live action. Well, with flat screen tv's and futuristic architecture, it's easy to see where 70 million of our taxes went. In all honestly though, I was proud that our city is attempting to and succeeding in building tourism. This could actually start building our rep and bringing in bands that I actually would want to see. The highlights of the trip were the visit to the "oxygen bar" where my friend paid five bucks to breath a flavor called "exhilaration". After that we walked into an adult store, where a flaming gay man walked out in shiny silver sequins proclaiming, "Ya'lls shit ain't got nothing on my style honey! I'm too much for this!" And then he walked out into the night. It was my moment of zen for the week.

Yesterday I saw Supersize Me, the doc about McDonalds. My gal and melly went to see it with me. It's an informative eye opener that everyone in this backwards country should see.
