My bad leg started to feel strange yesterday, and the pain got worse today, and my leg hurt when I put weight on it, or bent it and it felt really heavy and tired when I was walking on it. It felt like it had felt when I first got out of the hospital from a blood clot, almost two years ago.
So, after talking with Mikey, I go to the health center, who takes three vials of blood then sends me to the medical center for an ultrasound.
I got the ultrasound and it didn't find any blood clots. I have to wait til the doctor calls to find out why he thinks my leg hurts so much, if it's not a blood clot.
Meanwhile I missed two classes today, and spent a good portion of it trying not to cry, because last time I totally broke down when I found out I had a blood clot...
And now that I know I don't, I'm still crying because I'm sad that I got everyone all worked up about nothing.
And now I have to try to get on Medicaid so I can pay for the services I used today, because otherwise I'm not going to be able to pay for the ultrasounds and blood works, etc.
I feel like shit and I hate my body.
----EDIT----
After I posted this, the doctor called. He said that I probably have what's called Post-Thrombotic Syndrome, which is kinda like "ghost limbs"... you know like when someone has an arm cut off and they feel pain in their hand even though they don't have one?
Anyway, he said that he's still concerned, so he wants me to come in tomorrow for another check up, and to get another ultrasound in a week, just to be sure.
In other news, the valves in my leg-veins don't work! Yay!

Ok, that last part does not sound very good. I have no clue what it means about valves in your leg veins so I shall now look it up. I am sorry to hear that you are ill. I don't know if you have a job or not, but last year I had to go to the hospital because I had a 104 degree F temp. It ended up costing me $1,800 for a tylenol and some water. Because I was unemployed, aka student, the city had a health plan for poor people like me and paid for almost everything. I ended up paying like $200 in the end. Not too shabby. If you apply the worst they can do is say no. Well I hope you feel better soon. And it is ok to make people worry about you. It shows who your friends are and that they really care !

As soon as I upload them they're going up.
