So, I have a class on Tuesdays at eight o'clock in the morning. I have to get up at six o'clock to get ready and walk forty minutes to the classroom (because the bus doesn't start running until nine), where I stay until noon. Then I take the shuttle back.
And I'm very upset about this class. This week the process of following the teacher's instructions made me leave the class in tears, because her mode of teaching is group oriented and I've not had a positive group experience in any class, especially hers where I am ignored and forced to conform.
I emailed her about how I seriously considered dropping her class because of how upset I got after the last test, where her "Team Assisted Individualization" made me fail, because my group wouldn't listen to my explanations.
She told me that she would go over proper group expectations at the next session, and that I should definitely consider finishing the class, given that it is important that I learn to modify other people's behaviours in order to effectively teach.
She wants to meet with me tomorrow afternoon, and I'm not exactly sure what I can say to her that I haven't already said.
Any Ideas?
Oh, and in other news, today was the first day my swimming class met. We did a lot of swimming, and I was really exhausted after, but the worst part was he tried to make me swim underwater! On the first Day! I can't hardly swim above water! I dunwanna drown! *runs scared*
BUT I got to go in the sauna, and it was nice.
