How awesome is Guitar Hero II?

you know, i hear all this nonsense about guitar hero, but i've never seen or played the game. I dont have the slightest idea what it's about! I mean, I can obviously draw a conclusion to it being kind of an air guitar video game .. but I could be way off base.

Just got back from seeing '300' with a bunch of friends. Fantastic movie with amazing fight scenes and I highly recommend it to anyone.
Wow, I cannot believe that '06 is almost over. This year has just been very
