So yesterday our boiler broke at home leaving us with absolutely no heating and no hot water just in time for the heaviest snow we have had in a couple of years.

Our house is so unbearably cold when the heating is off so we were kindly offered a bed at Helens parents which we decided to take them up on so we could use their shower too. Unfortunatly on the way up we got caught in the worst of the snow and had to ditch the car and walk the rest of the way. We are not having the best of luck this year at all.
