Rant time.
Ya know its interesting, you sit down and watch a show about the 100 greatest movies of all time, only seeing clips, and yet a single clip can cause you to tear up, simply from memories of that movie. Life is not about finding the moments to make you feel rich, its about realizing those moments have already happened. Every good thing you've ever had in your life, every friend, all of them are attributes to this richness. I stress out more than most, it's not something im proud of, but its me. But, what I know is that appreciation for all that is, is one of the most important lessons you can learn.
Another is standing your ground on all that you believe, unless of course you're beliefs should actually change (but thats a personal decision). I hold to my view of relationships and Love through thick and thin, I can't help that im old fashioned in most regards, nor can I help being a huge dork that most of the time doesn't realize how much of a loser he's being. I love myself for that, and i'd change it for no one. If my personality is so unattractive at my age then I guess im screwed because im not changing it unless it changes itself.
On to other things though, first off I must point out that Squeak is my new favorite person on here, not only is she an Uber comic nerd but shes gorgeous as well, and you can't get much better than that. . I've touched base with my comic nerd side a lot more as of late, reading more comics again and discussing opinions and entertaining arguements to please my nerdyness. Helps that there are quite a number of comic films that have come out this year as well and more to come, that just makes me read more because it reminds me more so of what I Love.
I have a question for anyone that actually reads this (since I don't talk to very many people then its probable I wont get many if any reply's but thats ok)
I want to try and get a 1/4 or 1/2 sleeve on my right arm sometime soon. Im considering getting the Angelic Spawn, it was a concept created by a hero of mine...IE McFarlane, and a drawing done by another hero of mine Capullo, plus its one of my favorite characters and the symbolism is amazing to me.
Question 1.) Is this a good idea?
Question 2.) If I do get it, and want to fill out the sleeve, what else fits in with that?
Question 3.) Could I throw in any comic hero's/villains/anti-hero's with that?
Question 4.) If I filled out the sleeve completely and decided to do another sleeve on my left, do I continue that trend or do something completely different?
Tattoo's are an artform to me and i've wanted them since I was a child (despite both of my parents saying they are horrible things...they've lightened up but they still dont like them very much). But I also dont want to do something I may regret, not saying I think i'd regret that at all, just saying i'd like to hear some opinions.
Thanks
Oh and if you want to see a shot of that Spawn here it is
