So after all that nonsense earlier, against all odds, one of my baby sharks has survived and is due to go full term soon.

I've been able to check it out for illnesses and all seems to be well, its a little male shark and he's gonna have some cool band patterns on him when he hatches out :)

So none of my baby sharks survived... I have no idea why either...

I managed to find another egg, and this one has a fairly fully formed embryo inside it. I think it may only be a month or so from hatching, I'll try to get some shots soon for you all.

Spent a good few days making this the sexiest course you can do smile It's packed with all sorts of information about shark and ray ecology, biology, life history, conservation issues and how to interact with them in the wild safely. Gah...
I miss the gym. In a week or so I can head back and start training again but it can't come soon enough.
So today...
One of the sharks tore a fuckin great hole in the mesh we stand behind to feed them.
So... yours truly has set to building an impenetrable fortress that no shark (well... none of our sharks) can get through....
