I got my new used bike off of ebay! I saved $350!
It's exactly my size, a 2003, and built for touring. I'm planning on riding out to Pt. Mugu for overnight camping. AIDS ride 2006 & eventually, LA-Boston. I did 38 miles last week and my knee feels great. I feel like I got my life back.
Here's pics from my last few rides;
Cool shrines in Thai Town.
Dude waiting for bus by Aztec Sun dial in Little Armenia
Silverlake Blvd. West
I'm toying with the idea of being cremated when I'm dead and have my ashes thrown in the LA River. I'd prefer just dumping the body, but that would cause complications.
They're finally fixing up the park where the homeless bathe in my hood. Getting ready for the Sunset Junction, which I'm going to miss this year because I'll be in Chicago.....
I registered for classes this fall and can't wait. I liked being back in school last fall.
Ok, tired. Time to visit Bongolia and sleepy sleep.

i was at taix and the guy got chased through their parking lot. near as i could tell, everything started at that church on alvarado just north of sunset, up from the coffee joint. someone said it was a party at the church of northern mexicans infiltrated by southern mexicans, so it was a turf war transposed a few hundred miles, but i don't know if that's true.
