Well, my OSX upgrade is just about complete. I'm digging it. iTunes is way better than what I had. Overall, it's faster & more stable. It's a little weird getting used to the new hierarchies. I'm also wondering at what point do I start trashing the old shit? It's nice to be current without having to chase the state-of-the-art.
Nikki's doing a lot better but he's still not quite his ol' self.
He was hanging out with a friend from work last night. I ended up watching Whale Rider w/ a coupla Boddington's. In fact, I'm having the last one right now!
The good thing is I stopped Nick from emailing his wife a really long, gushy, freak out letter. His pal said I was wise beyond my years for doing that. That felt good because I wasn't sure if I was overstepping my bounds. People in relationships should always be wary of advice from consummate bachelors.
We're actually going to see Avs.P today. Normally I wouldn't, but Nick's insisting AND offering to pay. I can go for a good shitty movie as long as I have a buzz on.
My motorcycle's finally getting fixed. $650 for a level 3 service and fix the blown oil pressure switch that blew and took out a bunch of other shit and got oil all over the air intake. It could be worse. I gotta have it fixed. It's my only transpo until I can get another van. I might even need it if I have to work as a messenger or sell it if I can't find work and have to bug out.
I was thinking I'd get another van soon, but I also owe the Feds $650 for taxes and it'll be $220 for filing the BK. That only leaves me $700 in the van fund, but I am expecting some money back on a Blue Cross claim. Maybe someday I'll get than damn rock van.
I'm dropping my pal, Sabrina, off at the airport tomorrow EARLY. The trade off is I get to use her car for 10 days, which saves me a lot of time. I actually enjoy public transpo, but it takes a lot of time. The upside is I get to read, I get outside, and I get to be with the people.
Well, let's hope I don't get too drunk. We're off to the flicks.
Bleagh!
