It happened! Boss told me yesterday my raise will take effect this pay period. Almost a %40 increase! It's still low for industry standard, but I'm getting a late start. I'm not going to be rich, but at least I'll have something to work with. First thing is to repay a loan and buy a plane ticket home for christmas.

I owe a lot of people drinks.

I've had six jobs in six years. Finally, I'm settling into a position where I enjoy the work, hours (M-Th 3pm - 1:30am), the commute, and most of the people. Also, they seem to appreciate me.

The hours also give me a lot of time to work on music and stuff. There's going to be a few new live tracks on the shards web page. I'm also finally doing something with the side project.

Friday night, I did the midnite ridazz ride. It was fun tooling around with about 1,000 cyclists through the hood and hollywood. Next time, I think I'll bring a sixer instead of a 12. Saturday was rough. I ended up staying in for the night. Sunday, a friend came over for a few beers and then I watched movies all night.

Now I'm off for a ride and to run a few errands.
