I rocked my last test. %96! I'd have to really screw up to not get an A now. There's only two weeks left in the class and the physiology material is a lot easier than the previous material.
We're playing the Scene tomorrow night. I'm not expecting much since it is a Tuesday, but it is 6/6/6. If the apolcalypse takes place, I"d rather be on stage rocking out with my boys.
I set up the portable DAT at rehearsal for the first time. I'm really excited about finally having this setup. Now, I can record rehearsals and shows very easily.
I'm supposed to start making the transition into the audio department. I need to talk to the boss man today. One of the guys is going on vacation for two weeks. I think that would be a good opportunity for me to get up to speed while there are people around to help me out before switching to the swing shift.
I got a call back from a post house about work. I sent that resume about three or four months ago. If they are interviewing for an audio position, I will at least hear them out, but I think my beest interests are staying where I am until I have some more experience. I'm also happy, for the most part, where I'm at. That may all change in January when the takeover is finalized. At least I would have six months under my belt by then.
I rode my bike to work on Friday. It felt good. I think that's going to be a regular thing for a while. I'd like to drop another 15 pounds and I enjoy riding anyway. The knee is getting better, but I'm still doing therapy.
Got the van's electrical work straightened out. Now I can take care of the fix-it ticket. Broke as hell until Friday, but what else is new? I can hang.
