I am sick. Icky. Ick.

I have five sick days, so I am using one. I still have to pick up my guitar amp from the shop, the dry cleaning, stop by Trader Joe's, and then do some laundry. I slept for 10 hours. I'll rest the remainder of the day.

I can't register for classes until next week. Fortunately, classes don't start until mid Feb.

I've been irritable at work. I'm losing my patience for people who talk down to me, elaborate & repeat themselves unnecessarily, and get off on petty power trips. I know they are trying to compensate for their own insecurity. I'd be better off playing along until I get my turn to show I'm not an idiot, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood. I'm aware I need to be careful. If you want to keep a job, it's very important that you get along with people. Otherwise, they might turn on you, you might end up hating your job, or all of the above.

It just pisses me off when you think you've built a rapport with someone and then they want to spend 20 minutes rambling on on how you screwed up some minor detail because the instructions were incomplete and you didn't interpret properly. Damn, keep it simple. I speak English. I heard you the first time.

Imagine what it would be like if people gave praise for just %25 of the time they criticize.

Yeah, I'm sick & cranky. I don't want to be sick for Halloween.
