hhmmm.... so many things run through my mind at election time. i like to keep track of the race, cuz i like to know where the hell my country is going next. although ignorance truely is bliss, i just have to be informed of every aspect of reality. the educated and consious path is a difficult path to take, but i must take it, yet i dont know why,(and fuck you, i know my spelling sucks ass and is obviously not part of my educated path, but spelling has little to no affect on the major parts of this world and this reality.) i guess i just hate not knowing why (which is ALWAYS the burning question in my mind.) anyways, so far, once again, most of the leading canadates seem to have the same basic beliefs in the major issues of america, leaving us, once again, with a choice between different brands of the same product (meaning that every leading canadate is so far telling the people what we wanna hear, leaving us with almost no real choice to make.) but like so many past elections, what a canadate will say in their race toward the white house, is completely different than what they will actually do once they get elected to office. so why do we even bother? im not too sure. maybe its for the small hope that our voice will be for once heard. maybe its for the hope that we will get lucky and elect a president that can make the most out of our cluster-fuck of a government. but then again, everyones oppinion is different, and election time is just one big gamble, a world wide game of rulet. yes world wide. america (the world police) affects more than just the U.S. with their decisions, because we've made sure to make the world our buisness. pakistan and other countries are even keeping a close eye on our 2008 election, because they know that whoever we elect as a leader will directly affect their country as well. with as many ties and regimes as we have placed all over the world, the U.S. president will always affect the entire world. thats why it makes me so mad that people will simply chose to "vote democrat" or "vote republican." its fucking retarted to make a choice on a leader based on which "club" they belong to. people need to start knowing the issues and where their canadates stand on said issues and then make their choice accordingly. who knows, maybe someday a canadate will suprize you and have more in common with you than a side whom you usually agree with. anyways, ive ranted long enough, cuz i know that most people wont even make it half way through my ranting about the 2008 election. so basicly, every election, we just have to vote based on an educated guess about who will best speak on our behalf and hope to whatever god you believe in, that the person you elected into office wasn't the biggest liar out of the bunch. happy 2008 everyone. lol........
