Within the last two months both parents have landed in the hospital, a friend lost his house in a fire Monday and another was involved in a serious car crash with a fatality yesterday.

So bullying and depression claimed another victim today. Please people. If you need help--Talk to someone. Hug your friends more often. Remind them that they're not alone. Even if that doesn't work, be nicer to strangers. I'm not one of those touchy-feely types, but goddamn...one kind words can make a world of difference.

My brains are fried. I need a week or two away. I'd prefer sand and palm trees, but i have a good friend outside Paris that's willing to entertain me for a bit. One of my other friends is working for Tesla in San Diego and might be worth a trip.

Came as a huge shock, but I'm fine. It has gotten a bunch of us together that haven't seen each other in a long time...and she'd have approved of that (and the ensuing shenanigans) so we're hoping to make the best of it.
