I'm not one to accept personal limits...I do and either get things done or fall apart trying. So having been in a sling (with some high-speed metal fasteners holding my shoulder together) for a week, I've been lazy (got in some game time!), largely frustrated, and grown a respectable beard. So yesterday was the highlight of the week--I managed to get a shirt on by myself...stupid heavy cotton thing that proved near impossible to remove later. So having conquered the shirt, I moved on the the next logical thing for a guy with one arm: replacing the air filters in my car. Got the hood open only to realize I couldn't get the thing up to prop open the hood. Undaunted, I decided to tackle the cabin air filters--right behind the glove box. How hard could that be? Two stupid cam lock things hold it in place that you need two hands for. Damn. In 10 days my only accomplishment is dressing myself. Wtf. Guess I should be glad I'm not cruising the neighborhood naked.
